Has anyone anywhere ever seen Rafael Benetez be gracious in defeat?
i.e. has he ever said anything like "we just werent good enough today we never showed up and got what we deserved nothing" When Liverpool do lose (ok not very often) hes always blaming it on the Referee and personally i hate that!

I am an avid Liverpool fan and have seen Benetez be gracious several times and am surprised by what u r saying as i have yet to see Benetez blame the ref or the officials for Liverpool losing a game r u sure u r not getting confused with someone else ie Arsen Wenger ? as i have seen him blame ref and officials on several occassions . x
So pretty much like Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, Jose Mourinho etc etc.
I've also seen him be honest about his team, he is a good manager and isn't one of those who is quick to blame everything and everyone else.
Yes, quite a few times. Most recently just look at Liverpools pre-season tour where they had a few bad defeats and Rafa's answer was that the team wasn't playing as well as they should.
Show me a good loser and I'll show you a failure!
on the very rare occasion that we have been beat, Rafa is very gracious in defeat, he feels let down when we loose cos the team do have bad days, but on the whole, Rafa is a gentleman. Morinio is the worst looser ive seen for a long time, spoilt little baby. Rock on Rafa!!

Rafa only ever does that when the ref is to blame. He has on several occasions said that a loss was as a result of the other team playing better and Liverpool lads under-performing.
As far as unconsciousness in defeat goes he is nowhere near the likes of Arsen Wenger, Jose Mourinho, Alex Ferguson,or even David Moyes or Gerard Houllier.
You would know this if you watched post-match interviews.
