24yrs cant swim .where can i learn?anyone know!?
Answers:
Well, I'm 59 and have just finished a course of 8 lessons at my local swimming baths (£36 for the 8 lessons) and yesterday I did two lengths of the 25 metre pool without putting my foot down once. What a triumph!
I just wish I had done this years ago. If only you knew of the holidays which have been ruined for me because I couldn't swim.
Go ahead and get some lessons. The instructor is in the water with the class, so no need to be scared.
Good luck! You'll never regret it.
your local leisure centre or swimming pool should have adult classes
mmmmmmmmmmmm at the swimming baths maybe.
go to your local swinning pool and ask them, there are normally evening classes at all local pools, good luck
just contact your local swimming pool. most have adult learning classes.
your local ymca or ywca, is a good place to start, or ask one of your friends, that you really trust , to help you out
You could join a local YMCA and learn.
Check at your local swim pool for lessons.
im 21 and i just learnt.. my friends and family taught me at the local swimming pool
if there is a ymca near you they teach how to swim no matter what age check it out
They have beginners class at any YMCA.
practice i nthe bath
then try a childs pool
then when ur confident go to the big pool
If you cant face classes with loads o kids, the local recreation centre will be able to get you in touch with a swimming instructor who does 1 to 1 training..
Try asking at your local swimming pool. They are probably the best people to ask.
Another option is to ask at the local library. Where I live they have a list of local organisations and groups so will probably be able to help you.
try you local swimming pool, otherwise some schools that have pools offer classes outside of school hours you could try them.
go to a swimmer.he will learn u!!i know swimming.if i knew u i will learn u.lol
Yup, go to YMCA; they offer swimming classes.
In NYC, Y's have level 1, 2 and 3 swimming classes. Eight weeks per each level. It's cheap. Around $130. It's fun too.
