Has David Beckham finished playing English football.?
I hope he has I've always said he is over rated and over paid.
Answers:
Who would want him? None of the top half of the Premiership would touch him with a bargepole, and the bottom half clubs wouldn't be able to afford him.
no way - he has said that he doesn't want to retire from playing for england, also with Lennon and Hargreaves out injured currently i wouldn't be surprised to see him in the next england squad for october.
no has hasnt , just retired as captain
I don't think he has much choice at the moment. However, just wait till England start losing and the fat, lazy, pig journalists will be giving their unwanted, ill-educated and biased opinions "screaming" out from the back pages of every 5hit rag on the shores of the UK that whoever managing England at the time is incompetent instead of accepting the fact that England just aren't good enough to win the world cup. The one and only time they ever did was at home.
One can only hope
noooo
its about time he quit.while he is still ahead
I tend to agree with you, I think all premiership football players are over rated and over paid, but I have recently seen an interview with David Beckham on sky sports and he did say he would play for England again at some point in his career.
I 100 per cent agree with you.He his moaning about McClaren dropping him.
no way he will be back sooner then you think
no i don't think so i have said that when he was told he's out of the England team I know he will be back he can still score goals he did that Sunday when he came off the bench to score Real's second to win. I wont argue with your last comment as all footballers are but Posh and He know how to spend it
About time too I think! Too much hype not good enough.
Your question's not clear, so I'll try to answer the best I can:
1. Beckham will not play for another English Premiership club (except Man Utd, which is unlikey).
2. Beckham would like to play for England national team.

Hi,From what i have read in the net,he wants to stay in spain, and doesn't want to put on any other premier club shirt.!!Let Steve maclaren get on with doing his job!
i think he'll make a comeback
David Beckham said on the television that he did not want to retire from playing Football for England and you have to admit that he WAS a good Football Player for England for MOST of the six years he was Captain. Will he get picked for England AGAIN, I suppose it all depends if he can keep his head down and does not criticize Steve, as the other person said we have two Players (not counting Michael Owen) out injured, so possibly he MIGHT be called up, (but I will not hold my breath).
couldn't agree with you more. as you said the guy is overrated, overpaid and not as good as he thinks he is
Too right mate. He's too slow now & he'll be even slower time the Euros come around. Also, he's too slow to come back to the Premiership.
England' midfield should be Downing Hargreaves Gerrard & Lennon.
English football - yes - he will stay in Spain.
For England - maybe he should be in the squad, but would he be prepared to sit on the bench - i don't think so.He will be too old in 2008 for the Euros, so we ought to look to the future.
Mind you if Neville gets a game - anyone can
he won't play until England start to perform poorly under Maclaren - if this happens which I doubt it will (looking at their qualifying group) then Media pressure will hasten a comeback. My feeling is he will never play for England National Team again but will come back to English League football next season.
Great player, nice chap, dreadful taste in women...
i hope so---- because english football has finished with him
he could still come back on, you never know. until he retires, we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
I don't think he'll ever be pulling on his boots anywhere in England as a professional player. He's just too expensive to upkeep for the limited options he can offer.
