Why do they make a water proof ball to play Cricket, the first drop of rain to hit the pitch abandoned match.?

ALSO WE NEED WATER PROOF PITCHES, (wet pitch behaves differently)
WATER PROOF OUT FIELD,( otherwise, players get injured) WATER PROOF COSTUMES, (for all persons in ground to prevent illness)
AND WATER PROOF STADIUM.( to catch the ball while raining,and keep the spectators dry)
ITS TOO HARD TO CONSTRUCT EVERYWHERE.
SO, WE SIMPLY ABONDON THE MATCH.
can you imagine the state of the grass them all runnning around on it wet? would ruin it. then you would have no cricket at all you silly boy
its nothing to do with the ball really.. only the safety of running about on wet grass..
Cant play in the rain because:
1. Outfield grass is wet, leave alone running, one would fall even if they walked fast.
2. The pitch if exposed to rain would go soft and in some time muddy and would scrap off.
3. The alteration of the pitch would be unfair, if the other team batted in normal conditions, or the team gonna bat next to get normal conditions.
4. And the last thing! The ball is not water proof. The leather ball will change shape and will also go soft if exposed to water.
the wicket would be ruined by the bowlers running onto it. also they would leave bigger foot prints, which if they get water in, the ball will bounce a lot less leaving batsmen trapped with low balls off a bouncer etc.
they do play the shorter (eg T20 and pro40) in what appears to be quite heavy showers just to make sure that the game finishes and DL isnt involved.
also, the outfield would become dangerous to run on, imaging someone sliding to stop a 4 on wet grass? big muddy slash onto the pitch into the advertising where the player finally stops.
Maybe the balls water proof in case there is any dew on the grass.

The actual reason is the likelihood of the pitch becoming quickly damaged, which would make the bounce of the ball unpredictable, unfair and, more importantly, very dangerous.
