What is heat acclimation and why is it beneficial to delay its onset during exercise (not heat acclimitisation

im talking about heat acclimation during running for example and what the benefits of delaying this process are. not to be confused with acclimatisation which is adapting to an environment if you train in it many times.

Answers:
Actually, there is little to no difference between the two. If you read this article closely you will see that acclimation is the term used for aclimitization when it occurs in artificially controlled conditiions. If a person is in an experiment and the researchers turn up the heat and make him run he is acclimating, if he runs outside in the summer heat it is acclimatization.

You actually get a significant benefit from acclimating. If you look at this article it will go into depth upon the difference between excercise in cool and warm conditions, but, other than the possibility of heat illness during the first few days of the acclimation process, the overall effects are markedly beneficial.
