If a proffessional diver, dived from a helicopter, how far up would he have to be before he died on impact.?

basically could a diver dive from a plane and land in the sea and survive.assuming he landed well in the "safest entry position"

Answers:
try it , come back and let us know !
wt?
How high up is the plane? Is it at commercial flight height, in that case, probably not. It would be difficult. but if he had a parachute.
He would hit the water at a speed of approx 120 mph, that is roughly the terminal velocity for a body falling through our atomosphere. I don't know if you would survive at this speed.
But, I can tell you it would be a very effective sinus flush!!
It's an interesting question. Cliff divers often dive over a hundred and fifty feet and live, in practice anything over 284 feet and your at terminal velocity anyway (head down in a diving position around 180 mph) , so I would guess somewhere in between? Wayne
That would depend on his monthly pay packet and if he is using that pay packet to break the fall!!
About the same as an amateur diver.
Are you alright in the head ?or have you fallen from a great height and landed on your napper.
75 yards.
