How do pole-vaulters transport their poles?
Answers:
They have a carry case that the poles go into, the case has a handle but most carry them on their shoulders in the case. If going by car it must be in a van where it can be attached to the side or on top with special harnesses like when you transport bikes on roof racks, in planes they are checked with over size luggage for example skis
By carrying them in a very long addidas bag!
That question is one of the great wonders of the world!
this is so funny cos years ago i shared a flat with a teacher that did pole vaulting and to get the pole into the flat we had to pass it up the outside of the building, we lived in the old glc flats in London, if you know them their the ones on the bill where all the trouble happens, not true in real life , thanks for reminding me of this had a good laugh at the memory ;-)
In a pole transporter
they do the same as Monkey does with his staff, shrink it my magic and put it behind your ear
I thought everyone knew that
Maybe they use the ones already at the destination.
Bloody good question!
