Yes - Rangers will win the UEFA Cup this year. We've been a bit below par in the SPL, but Paul Le Guen has us set up for Europe.

I also think, but hate to say this, that Chealsea might win the campions league, but i hope they don't as Barcelona and AC Milan are doing wicked teams, as well as Lyon and Real Madrid.

Every chance. I suspect that many clubs in Europe will not relish facing the British clubs. For the champions league I can imagine any one of our teams winning. Man Utd are in great form despite the hiccup against Copenhagen, Arsenal are playing great football, Chelsea are grinding out results and Liverpool have an infinity with this competition. As to the Uefa cup I have a sneaky suspicion that Spurs and Blackburn will do very well. Having said that Newcastle are performing far better in Europe than domestically. It might be the saving of their season.

You can have the best eleven players on the planet but it's ultimately eleven human beings versus eleven human beings. I can't see the likes of Ronaldinho etc. relishing a trip to Liverpool, Manchester or even Glasgow on a freezing cold Tuesday night in the depths of March.

Newcastle seems to have a lot more success in Europe than in the Premiership last season. That reminds me of Boro's run last year where they flirted with relegation but were UEFA cup runners up.
For the Champions league Chelsea, Arsena, Liverpool, and Manchester United are favorites. Of this group I would say liverpool and Chelsea have a more European oriented side and could be chasing alot more based on past events. Liverpool is pretty much out of the title race in England so their only consolation is the CL whereas the CL is the only think lampard, terry, and gang have not yet won.
United and Arsenal are also very good contenders, but I see them battling hard for the title and maybe that gives a little edge to Liverpool and Chelsea, though I hope for a United treble again.
