Should Rafael Benetiz go and Liverpool get an Englishman?

he cant get his head around english football. in europe he can but we want the premiership where spanish armadas dont always work

Answers:
no of course not he s gr8 wherever he is
he made liverpool from nothing 2 a europe champion
Rafa's had a cr*p start to the season, then again, he's never done that well in the Premiership. I think the Liverpool head honchos are hoping he'll do better in the FA Cup and Champions League.
personally i think rafa is doing great.2 seasons and 2 trophy's.that's good going.

also, who should we get in? i cant think of an Englishman id prefer to see at anfield, although i would have liked to have seen martin O'Neill (not english i know)

Liverpool have a good depth of squad, we have been in europe with rafa for 2 years now.i know what your saying about the premiership form, it is a bit up and down, but i think he has done most of the buying he needs now, so think we will see the squad settle domestically over the rest of this season.
Ummm, in short, no. Liverpool have a had good success under his management; two trophys in two seasons, including the Eurpoean cup, is a pretty great record. Admittedly there are one or two creases needing to be ironed out in the Premiership, but he is fielding a team that are still needing to gel together, due to all the purchases he made over the summer, and the fact that he adopts a strict rotation policy so as to prevent injury. It cannot be argued that this is working; I think at this moment everyone except Harry Kewell is totally match fit and even he might be.
Give Rafa a chance and I'm sure he will help bring great things to the club
datss the problem of some of english people. let me start wit dis q u ? 4 how long hav liverpool been wit no silver ware ? now u got fa cup nd champions lg rafal in no good to u hmmmmm.
GOD bless arsenal fans both in england nd the wold
think about r q again good day
no he is doing well in Europe and adjusting to the prem given time he could succeed it took SAF 4 years for his first trophy and going on that basis rafa is exceeding himself.
yes he should go i mean 2 trophy's in as many years is a bit worrying when we are trying to catch you up lol. you should get souness back in cos it took you years to get it back together after he managed you i must give credit to houllier tho i don't think you gave him enough time ?.
we have only played 7 games, not even a 1/4 of the season and you'd have to be a idiot to sack your manager so early. We have lost to Chelsea (unlucky), Bolton (we were robbed) and Everton (draw would have been a fair result) and iv'e lost count how many times we've hit the woodwork this season. Ok now i'm making excuses but its true things haven't gone our way just yet and rafa is still tweaking the team trying to get the right combination which may or may not be the right thing to do but just know that Rafa knows more than you and I about things so have a little patience. The thing is we started last season badly too and couldn't buy a goal and right now we've scored 8 in the last 4 games and things WILL pick up. It looks as though there won't be a runaway league winner like Chelsea last season and the other top teams will drop points at some point.

YNWA
He shouldn't go but he dose need help. He needs an Englishman along side him someone who knows Liverpool inside out. I was shocked when Sammy Lee left he needs someone like that who understands Liverpool.
Rafa is a superb manager. We have only played couple of matches in the prem, it is quite early to judge his tacticts.Yea, we had a tough luck against Bolton,so what? EPL officials need glasses. We have Kyut and Gonzales this year who are brilliant, and we play well in the CL.
It is early to make any conclusions. Even we do not win the prem this year, so what? we are still a great team and Benitez is still a great manager! Go Reds!
The more English managers and players the better. Rafa is a top coach just not English. If we don't push for more Englishman we can't moan when our great nation fails and fails at international level.
P.S Arsenal are no longer an English club, they are the devil to the 3 lions
See what i feel is, that rafa "is not up to the mark". I noe that i am not a footballing expert but still my 8yrs old brother can make this comment. He has got 0% idea about the transfer market. I swear to you that that even i can buy better players than him. Now u can question me that how did liverpool win the final against milan, one word will answer ur question that is GERRARD. If you remove him from the squad the liverpool will be ruined.
youre not gonna win the prem not for a long time anyway hes a good manager id stick with him.
Perhaps, you're right, but you've yourself said that he can make it in Europe (the result: they won The Champions League 2005), so he'll be forgiven for many and many times in turn for his mistakes.
oh no don't do that its a proven fact that the English couldn't even manage a pub
before he gets a englishman he should try getting 3 points on a weekly basis..ha ha ha ha
i would like to see him stay, he has only been here 2 years and has won trophies in his first 2 years, alex ferguson could not do that, every time they get knocked out of the champions league hes making excuses, that manc fool at the bottom of the ans page saying pick up 3 points on a weekley baises, they could not, and reading?back to rafa, think stick with a settled back 5 and decide his best strike force and the 2 in the middle and all will be fine.keep your head up, we never walk alone, it wont be 26 years waiting on a championship like man u.that was a joke.
i cannot believe you have asked that question!!?**!!? YNWA obviously you are not a Liverpool supporter.
I don't think he should go, far from it. When Dalglish left in 1991 we went on a very slippery slide. Souness took over and couldn't stop the slippery slide. When Houllier came he got us going in the right direction but had the team playing too defensive for my liking.

Rafa has done good in his first two seasons and Liverpool are playing good attractive football again. Rock On Rafa .
He should stay, but stop rotating for every game. maybe we might get some consistancy.
And which Englishman would you have? Look at the managers of the top teams - Man Utd (Scottish) Arsenal (French) Chelsea (Portugese) Liverpool (Spanish). Benetiz is not doing a bad job. European Cup one season and then the FA Cup. There are a lot of managers who would settle for this let alone the fans. Why are so many people quick to ask for a manager to be sacked when things are not quite going to plan? One criticism I have of him is the amount of times he changes his team. Liverpool have gone something like 94 games without having the same side two games in a row. This must be a little unsettling as you have to play differently for instance if Crouch plays as opposed to Fowler. Overall however I think he is doing a good job.
There are no Englishmen currently in the game with a track record half as good as Rafa Benitez I believe, so no, he shouldn't go.
No, he's a great manager - very shrewd. You must b a Man U fan!
who cares about the premiership if you can in in Europe -look at chelsea - they would give anything to have won the champiosn league - even sacrifice their premierships - i think you should re-evaluate your priorities mate
no.english managers are not good enough.how many english managers have won trophys in last 10 years.
Rafa's doing fine. Who would you have instead?
don t care last English man to win the league was Howard Wilkinson 14yrs ago so has long has you are winning games it don t matter no more where they come from
I don't see any English manager who is better than Rafael. The best English manager I suppose is the one taking up The Three Lions job. He is an amateur compared to Rafael. I wonder why the English feel their game is much more complicated than the rest of the European game. Actually I think it is instead below par, that is why it is difficult to adapt to it. If that is wrong, why is it that the only Cup to speak of Internationally is a gift by their fellow mediocre, the Germany in 1966?
Yeah better to get back to basics and let English man rule
You're being impatient. How many years did it take Shankly (a Scot) ?
