Who is the WORST player to play topflight football in England?
Come on people there are many contenders for this illustrious crown. Which players butchered the beautiful game by their own masterful displays of ineptitude.
Answers:
Has got to be Ali Daia... He was recomended by George Wehr to Graham Souness of southampton.. Mr Souness had never seen him play and brought him on as a sub but never played again as he wouldnt have ever got in my local pub team.
carlton palmer - he was a basketball player
Ramon Vega for Spurs, Roy Keane for Man Utd, Titus Bramble for Ipswich or Newcastle, Djimi Traore for Liverpool.
carlton palmer, tony dorigo, john and justin fashanu, the list could be endless
John Terry
Vinnie jones...all he did was braking his opponents legs.
Dave Watson - not the one who played for Norwich & Everton, the original Dave Watson who played for Man City & Southampton. A complete thug who could barely kick a ball.
Roony
Almunia!
LOL! whoever said Roy Keane and John Terry Needs a SLAP!
Worst player. hmm. how about, anybody from Sunderland, who got relegated last year on 15 points from the premiership! Mwhahaha!
Geoff Thomas
for now, its got to go to the superb defensive duo of Titus Bramble/Jean-Alain Boumsong.
i liked carlton palmer, he was kinda lankily cool~
bambi crouch
Thomas Brolin for Leeds
Stan Collymore
Vinnie Jones
Eric Cantona
David Beckham (must be in there somewhere!).
Patrick Valery, he turned out for Blackburn Rovers in 1996, he was possibly the laziest player I have ever seen with the Blue and White shirt on his back.
Vinnie Jones, Moreintes- could not score at Liverpool but is scoring again in Spain. is it the sunshine..
Erik Bakke, Adi Akinbiye, Pascal Cygan...too many to name really.
John Terry
stephane guivarch - world cup winner and asolutley pants for newcastle
ade akinbagbi he couldnt score if they put the ball on the line in an open net oh and anyone remember phil babb at liverpool?
The current Manchester Sitteh squad.
This site could not handle the names of the crap players who have 'blighted' the name of football.
it has to be lauren blanc. for a world cup winner he was utter poo!! but then again there was raymond van der gow!!
Ali Da, George Weah's brother in law who palyed under Greaeme Souness at Southampton lasted about 10 minutes before he was subbed.
Michael Carrick.
Massimo Tiabi
Tit Bramble, John Jenson, Pascal Cygan, Francis Jeffers, Richard Wright, Andy Sinton, Bobby Zamora, Clinton Morrison, John Fashnu, Peter Crouch, Marco Boogers, Justin Edinburgh, Ian Bishop, JA Boumsong, Laurie Sanchez, Dave Beasant, Vinnie Jones, Chris Kiwomya etc etc etc
Vinnie Jones is pretty bad..a lot of the defenders in the 1970's were pretty bad. What about Norman Hunter (Leeds), Cyril Knowles (Spurs), Micky Droy (Chelsea), Ron Harris (Chelsea).Mind you as a Spurs supporter, I don't remember Graham Roberts being all that and Paul Miller was worse still.
Ali Dia. He was sent on as a sub for the Saints, and was so bad that Souness took him off. He never step foot in England again.
And I would put my vote for that Man U keeper, Massimo Taibi. Let in a comical goal against Le Tissier, and conceded five against Chelsea. Horrendous.
Come On! Lee Chapman for sure!
