Are Ducati MultiStrada motorbikes any good?

I think the Duck falls slightly short when compared to Honda's Interceptor and Yamaha's YZF-R6. However, choosing a bike isn't all about facts and figures.
Watching Trinity riding a Ducati in "The Matrix: Reloaded" may urge you to take a closer look!

These are indeed fine motorbikes as befitting of such a breed as Ducati. As a multi-sport platform it is an exceptional machine, capable of carving a mighty pretty line through a canyon as it is tooling down the interstate a'la touring bike. And with its abundant suspension it is capable of seeing many roads that more "pure" sport bikes fear to tread. In a world full of potholes and other less than perfect road conditions it becomes an any where/any time sort of machine, and for my money that kind of practicality is hard to match. Oh, and lets not forget that it's a drop dead sexy beast, but then again it IS a Duck!
I've had mine for a year and love it.
I ride the Multistrada 620 Dark and have found it to be perfect for city riding because it's very agile and upright. On freeway riding it passes just fine at 75+ miles per hour. However, I've never ridden a larger CC bike, so I don't know what to compare it to.
Let's just say that after 7,000 miles on my 2006 Multi I'm still smiling every time I get off it.
Make sure you're tall enough for it since it's a little bit tall in the saddle.
