All the clubs here get big names, even Anelka went to Bolton, and of course Tevez to West Ham .. can anyone seriously think La Liga is better? The big transfer news coming out of Spain today is Pascal Cygans £2m move from Arsenal

A good measure of a leagues worth might be to see how the teams from that league then fare in European competition when they face opposition from other countries. I can't be bothered tracking down the finalists or semi-finalists from the euro finals of say the past 5 or 6 years but if anyone can then I would suggest that would be a good measure of the relative strength of the European leagues.
The fact that the premiership has still got to buy players to improve the league means they aint the best - the fact is other league don't need improving & besides everyone here is biased.

but to answer ur question, yes ! the premiership is the best league in the world. u know what i think this season could be the best ever in history. just look u got ur arsenal, chelsea, l'pool, man u. then u have spurs who did so good last season. u have west ham who have just signed the 2 bigest argentine stars. u got portsmouth who under harry rednapp, could provided tough games. u have aston villa who under martin o' neil look like they are gonna be tougher to beat. then u have middlesborough who beat arsenal, chelsea and man u last season and chelsea again this season, if they could just play consistently, they have the ability to get a champions league place. like u said bolton as well, who always seem to give big teams problems and with anelka arriving wow its gonna be quite a season. i havn't even mention newcastle who seem to regarg themselves as a big team. so i think there are gonna be 10 or 11 good teams this season rather than the 5 or 6. i am so excited, but i am dissapointed that have to watch andorra 2moro rather than MOTD

The Premiership is amazing, i don't really follow anyone in the league but just love to follow all the action. It produces such amazing football and we have such quality players coming in all the time, it can only get better. With Ronaldinho falling out with the Barcelona boss, it can only be a matter of time before Abrovamich pounces on him to get him to Chelsea. £60Million+ i recon.
Maybe in England people think that is the best, rest of the world knows that La Liga is the strongest league in the world!!!
