Are times changing at the top of english football?

we all know how abramovich changed the fortunes of chelsea, but with pompey and villa being taken over by big money investors, and west ham showing some real ambition in the transfer market, are the top four going to be dragged back into a competitive league?

I was all ready to have a rant about how arsenal are going to turn their fortunes around but do you know what you have a valid point!
Healthy competition never hurt anyone its got to be good for the premier league, i must admit the thought of Chelsea winning everything was doing my head in!
who cares
Maybe in ten years you will probably have too have a really rich Chairman like Abamovich then the prices for players and the wages will probably get even higher so we are all doomed unless you are a proffessional footballer
I suspect Liverpool, Arsenal and United will be closer this season. You can buy good players, but eleven men are still beatable.
You`d better believe it. History repeats itself.
I don't even care that i don't care.
Aresenal have started poorly but i guarantee we will lift the trophy and chelsea dont bother me United are the team to beat this season
No. lol
I used to love football, i hate it with a vengeance now!
NO CHANCE MAN UTD WILL WIN THE TITLE THIS YEAR BUT WATCH OUT FOR THAT YOUNGE ARSENAL SIDE IN A COUPLE OF SEASONS
whats going on at westham i did not think they could afford to buy them players.
Never
Go Chelsea!
you never know. there are always going to be teams that are getting better and there are always going to be teams that are getting worse. maybe in another decade we could see teams such as portsmouth and aston villa at the top, but time will only tell. that is nothing we can predict at this time of day.
i think so villa in a few years will b strong and portsmouth are turning into a top side west ham landing teves will boost them and arsenal liverpool and manchester united are all top teams i think times are changing
I doubt it. Still be the same 4 but maybe in a different order. I really cant see any of the 3 teams you mentioned being in the chase for the title although I am sure both Portsmouth and West Ham will give the other 4 a good run for their money in one off league games. Villa? I dont think O'Neill is all he is cracked up to be. His style is one dimensional and the Villa fans can look forward to a long punt up the park or high balls swinging into the box. He did at Leicester and Celtic.
don't talk shite mate, you can't talk shite somewhere else but don't do it in front of me
Not yet.
But the other clubs will give the top four a run for their money.
That can only be good news for English football and the neutral football fans.
No, a few teams are just as dominant now. Look back and see it is as it always has been those that can spend do very well and those that cannot fight for the scraps.
It make the EPL more interesting
no
