I honestly believe that one, the two had problems with each other, and in my opinion, Van Nistelrooy was not performing up to the standard he had been. On top of that, United has much younger, better talent than the Dutchman.Although Rooney hasn't done much for United yet this season, Louis Saha is scoring goals and making the best of opportunities. I say bravo for getting rid of Van Nistelrooy and focusing on the talent United already has.
