What grip should I use for serving?

Also what grip should I use for a topspin second serve?

Answers:
You should use the same grip for both- its called the 'chopper' grip. Imagine you are going to use the frame of your racket as a hammer as hold the grip how you would a hammer.

It will feel strange at first & you may find it unsuccessful but stick at it & the power increase in your serve will be very noticable.

Use the same for a topspin serve, you just need to place the ball up in a different place- it should be slightly behind you & towards your left shoulder (assuming you are right handed).

Hope this helps but it is a bit hard to explain. Go to your local libary & look for a coaching book, they will have good diagramms to help you
forehand grip.
A kung fu grip.
Traditionally the best way to serve food is the underarm, silver service but if people are as rude to ask for a second service it is objectively viewed as to wether this is a complement to the chef or that your portion size is poor. For best results a brisk dunk on the plate will suffice.
Eastern or Continental. They are the serving grips to use. They allow you to spin the serve.
for both types of serves use a backhand chopper grip, the same used for the slice backhands and volleys. For more details about racket grips and serving techniques have a look at this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tennis/s.
