Why do so many people have such a problem with Liverpool FC?
And why do they all think we are glory supporters?

PEOPLE HAVE PROBLEMS WITH ANY TEAM THAT THEY DO NOT SUPPORT. I AM CHELSEA, SO I KNOW ABOUT THE GLORY CHASER STUFF. WE ALL GET BRANDISHED WITH IT. BUT I WAS THERE WHEN THEY WERE S**T, AND WILL STAY WITH THEM ALWAYS.

everyone seems to hate liverpools fan base.they do think we are glory hunters, and i hate that. i think it's just because there are so many fans, and a lot of them are glory hunters, and so everyone just assumes that whenever liverpool gets a new fan, they are just the same. they don't realize that there are actually some people who really do support the club, just like they support their favorite club.
It might have something to do with Liverpool FC being one of the BIG FOUR that outspends the other clubs. It's not as much fun if your local club is outside of that clique; you don't have much hope of winning the Prem.

Personally i don't have an issue with Liverpool, they seem to be a relatively honest team. Compared with Chelsea who, as Drogba and Kaloo show, still rely on people going down in the box to get a result.
Liverpool fans are honest about their team too, none of them go off on one saying that they are invincible (Arsenal are guilty of this in my experience)
Glory supporting happens when a team starts to play well. Its a sad form of taunting the other supporters

All through the 70's and 80's ManUre fans were arrogant obnoxious twats. I got so sick and tired of hearing ManUre fans saying that they'll win the league next year that it became a running joke.
Their fans are still arrogant, but in the 90's at least they had something to be arrogant about.
Most proper Liverpool supporters would say that they have a chance of winning the league this year. It's ManUre fans that are single minded (and always have been) not Liverpool fans.
