Does anyone think the west brom player who assaulted the Birmingham player on Saturday should go to prison?
Answers:
Interesting question.
Lee Bowyer faced charges for the on-field fracas with Kieron Dyer - his own team mate.
Why is the focus always on football though ? There are far worse punch-ups in rugby.
That's an assumption, you would first have to get it to a court of law, go before a jury, and if found to be guilty, then send him to prison, but, and i'm not biased in any way, i can't see a jury convicting him on the evidence i've seen, i am assuming, you are a Birmingham supporter, to say things like that.
I think prison is a bit hard cause you could have said the same about that Ben Thatcher from Man City on what he did to Mendes from Portsmouth! He deserves a 8 match ban like Thatcher or maybe more cause he broke the other lads jaw!
Haven't seen the incident but I would give him a medal and the rest of the week off.
paul robinson was only guilty of jumping out of the way not of inflicting bodily harm. the fa says so. besides he is not that sort of player
I think that anyone who thinks its OK to assault another person then they should be punished in whatever way the court sees fit to punish them with, nowadays people are stuck on the celebrity thing and not on the actual evidence which is assault, if he is proved guilty it is up to the courts to decide not the Great British Public.
