Why don't you see cross eyed football players?

won't they have the same perseption as non cross eyed players, but the wrong way.

Answers:
But crossed eyes still pose a medical problem and require glasses or contacts (neither of which work well under a helmet)
? I thought you meant crossing eyes with a football player
Maybe there are cross-eyed players but we don't know because we can't see them since they wear a helmet.
well they are all cross eyed but they get get surgery so they can get a big fat pay cheque and a blonde bimbo of a wife
Cross-eyed people often have sight in only one eye and therefore are lacking in depth perception, which requires binocular vision. Lack of depth perception makes it hard to judge when a ball will reach you.
I could never play softball or tennis because of this, and surgery did not correct the problem. Crossed-eyes are caused by astigmatism, which is an irregularity in the cornea of the eye. The brain cannot process two different views simultaneously and starts to ignore one of them, resulting in what is called "lazy eye."
I've only noticed maybe two cross eyed people. One was not interested in football or much of anything else. The other played on our high school team but he did not continue playing in college.

I'd say they probably do not get the attention needed at a young age so they do not develop into players a college wants to recruit.
Because they all become referees!
They retire cross-eyed, after repeated ball kicking!!
