Do it yourself, buy some paper from ebay in which you use an iron for. Make up a design and then iron it onto a t-shirt. Or find a local printers who will also do it.
you can buy packs of iron on transfer paper that you can print on using your printer and then iron onto any tshirt you want, so either buy a plain t shirt and make it look like the strip of choice, or the team strip top and iron on his name - with the transfers you can make any number of personalised designs forother family members as well, add on whatever you think theyll like to a plain t shirt and you can use any image you can gewt on your computer eg family photos, pics of celebs, comic images etc
You obviously have a computer .. so, if you have a good printer . make your own. You can buy the transfers at any Wal-Mart. There are transfers for white t-shirts or for dark t-shirts, so make sure you buy the right ones. Also, make sure you read the instructions . as they are different, according to the color of the t-shirt you are applying the transfer onto.
Find a pic of your choice . add the lettering, print it out . iron onto a newly purchased t-shirt , and you have you own personalized t-shirt. I've made lots of them for my sons. You also have the satisfaction of saying *you* made it .. have fun!!
Just go to the website of the team he supports, you can buy offical shirts there and get names put on the back. I did this for my dads birthday. It was about £30-£40 for the shirt and £6 to get his name on the back. Im sure it would be less for a childs shirt. I know its expensive but the shirt will last him a lot longer than one of the cheap knock offs, plus its nice to have the real genuine article than a cheapo fake that his mates will rib him for
