Does Lewis Hamilton has potential in F1?

Answers:
Absolutely, but I don't think he should be put in the McLaren straight away, maybe put him in a Spyker for a year or two before the move up to the big time - like Kimi and Fernando did.
who is he ?
He beat de la rossa in testing. He might be quick.
I think not, although he would be the first to say so.

F1 is not about the same kind of thing that Hamster specialises in.
He is good in his own field anyway, but I wish he would stop.
The angels have a way of giving us another chance.
Luis who??
He's been very successful in every form of racing he's entered so far and I believe he has lots of potential; he won't be another Jan Magnussen. We all remember Jan, don't we?
i think he should be given the chance
Apparently Master Hamilton has benifitted throughout his career due to his unfeasably large DRAPSACK..this lowers his centre of gravity to the point where it should be considered a driver aid.

Michael SchMACKER has a similar aid, in-as-much that he is extremely anally retentive, creating extra suction through the corners...i believe he exhales on the straights!
yeah.but i think gary is better..
deinately, but they shouldn't rush him its too much pressure. Look at Button ever since he started people have been wanting him to win and he's been slow to live up to expectations only winning in hungary this year. I reckon he needs a few years to mature slowly, perhaps a chance as a test driver etc and then a place in a lesser team before becoming a fully fledged McLaren racer. That way he can learn the ropes and if he's in one of the smaller teams he won't be expected to win anyway.
I think he deserves every chance and it would be cool to have not 1 not 2 but 3 English drivers on the grid in 2007
as gp2 champion shows some promise but i rehon he won't do well in f1 for a few years
Yes he does he is young so the team can build him up And he has nothing but talant. I work in motorsport and i will tell you right now he will be in F1 next year. When you hear this offically remember me. http://tourpodcast.googlepages.com.
Formula One is very different from GP2 and success in the latter does not always transalte into success in the former. However, with nothing else to go by we have to take Hamilton's phenomenal performance in GP2 as indicative of raw talent. If that talent can be properly channelled we may be talking about a potential F1 world champion. I will reserve judgment until I see how the youngster performs in an F1 car next season. As has been said by others, it may be a good idea for Hamilton to spend a year or two in a lesser team before entering the highly pressured McLaren environment.
