With Roy Keane move to managing Sunderland looking imminent, how do people think he will do in this role?

It may be that his style, is to aggresive for management, or indeed this could be the kick up the a**e the Sunderland players need.

I've heard the argument that he's no experience and all that crap but, He's a born winner and can't understand why any player would expect anything less! which i think is reasonable.. As for experience.. he captained a team that dominated english football for 10 years! Won the champions league, numerous F.A cups, countless league titles, P.F.A player of the year, worked under the legendry Brian Clough, Alex Ferguson, Jack Charlton. do i need to go on?? I'm not a Man Utd fan but, i still respect the man for what he achieved as a player and the leadership qualities he showed every time he stepped out. After today with Sunderland winning 2-0 without Keane in yet but, it was just his presence in the stands that proved enough. I envy Sunderland fans for they truly have a man who can bring them back to where they should be. Good luck!
Hopefully he will do well and become a great manager.
he dont take no guff not from the players management or board members, if they listen to him they'll win the fa cup. if they bullshit him all he has to do is show a pic of his trophy cabinet in his house.
it'd roy keane, it'll be great
Roy has earned his respect in Football and will attract plenty Younger Players who have Potential and Raw Talent.
Roy Keane is also a player who has an eye for talent and knows how to nurture young players as he was at United when the likes of Beckham, Scholes, The Neville's and Giggs were being Developed.
His game also Developed Immensely at United and he really knows more about Football than MOST Premiership Managers do. Roy Keane will Prove himself as a Manager.
Roy will be able to get the guys round him to succeed and he has worked under some great managers so he knows the score he must remember great managers do do not criticise players in front of others the media etc.good luck to him and lets hope he can restore a great supported team back to their proper status
Strangely enough, Niall Quinn, now Sunderland chairman, was asked upon Roy Keane's playing retirement, "Do you think Roy will make a good manager?" Niall replied: " I doubt it."

True story!
he's got no managerial experience, look at what happened when niall quinn tried managing the team, plus he's known to loose his temper, personally i'll be surprised if he lasts longer than 12 months
He'll make sure the lads at Sunderland tighten up their laces.
Any slackers who haven't the heart to play for the club should expect to be shown the door.
he will kick some butts into shapes
