Has anyone dived on the wreck of the Royal Charter off Moelfre, Anglesey. If so what is left?

Answers:
Smartcook needs to bone up on his wrecks. It's not a military vessel, it was a tea clipper.
I dived it years ago, when I was over doing Scapa and had some free time on my hands (relatives in the area) in 1993. Then, the wreck had been ripped up somewhat by previous salvors Part of the hull was penetrable. There's really nothing above the salvors excavation to look at. If I recall, it's in shallow water and we actually had to postpone the dive to a following day, because weather whips in there in a hurry. Sorry I can't help more, it's all I put in my log, other than "dissapointing sticks in bottom".
I didn't think you were supposed to dive on military vessels
nothing i dont think
Scubabob's info sounds kosher.

When I first saw this question I had a look for a Wreck Tour by Kendall MacDonald on Divernet, but I don't have a subscription and I don't think I had access to the more recent articles. If you do have a subscription, you might have better luck
