Have Arsenal got any money at all??
In recent years, my beloved Arsenal have lost many stars: Edu, Pires, Bergkamp, Vieira, Keown, Wiltord, Campbell - the glory days have gone, the days when we went entire seasons unbeaten .. they've not been replaced. On Saturday we had Justin Hoyte (I'll give him more time before I judge him) and Eboue (the new Gus Ceasar) who looked weak. and had no fight, gone are the days when we had a strong diminating team, while playing the best stuff . Fabregas is talented, but weak . Reyes is of course hopefully going, coz he doesn't like it when the tempreture dips below 20degrees .. have we got any money left after the stadium expenses to buy players: why aren't we in for Van Bommel, Woodgate, Ribery etc ??

I kind of agree, dont forget we were in the european final last year.
first of all SELL Cole and Reyes, they dont want to be there so if their not devoted to the club then they should be flogged off and both would fetch a nice price. We should definately try to bring in Gallas for strength alone, with Campbell gone the back is a little lightweight even though Toure or Lauren are no pushovers.
Our middle is also a little lightweight but dont forget Fabregas is only young. I believe Pires should have been offered a two year contract, we'll miss him. Stiil, sell Reyes and Cole and we'll have enough money for a 3 good signings.
going bankrupt
Arsenal is a great club but Emirate Stadium really cost a bomb, Oops! Anyway, since Cole is no longer interested to be around, let him go and bring in Gallas. Arsenal needs a strong defender and Gallas is one solid player that will give them just that.
It's early day and i am sure Gunners will improve as the season goes..good luck!
no i stole it all lol
In terms of turning players to gold, Arsenal are the richest club in the world - they pick up little-knowns like Fabregast, Eboue, Kolo Toure, even Henry and turn them to superstars. If they sell them, they wiil make millions. But don't worry - they'll come up soon. You know us.
We are lightweight at the moment and i don't think this is going to be a very good season, but next year with the extra revenue kicking in, and hopefully the availability in certain players A.W goes for, our good times will be back.
Arsenal are awful. They're wanabees.
Dont know why we didnt cut our losses with Reyes and get Ribery.
until they kick out Hill-Wood and get in a billionaire, we'll be playing second fiddle to Aston Villa
I am a Man City fan and wish that I had your problems. New stadium has cost the club an absolute fortune, but if the right players become available I would expect the funds will be available.
Reyes is probably one of the few players that Arsenal have paid big money for, and it hasn't worked out. Van Bommel is probably too old, Woodgate is injury prone and Ribery is not for sale. Wenger is not in a position to pay over the odds for people, and has saved the club an absolute fortune in picking up players on the cheap.
they r broke
glory days gone dont think so you reached the european cup final for christ sake you have the best player in the world arsenal are still the best side to watch in the premiership but must agree on your current defensive problems but do not worry you have a very shrewd manager in arsene and the money should be rolling in soon youare becoming a bigger club!
