Who was the first jockey to win both the Epsom and Kentucky Derbies?

Answers:
Steve Cauthen, became the first American jockey to win the fabled Epsom Derby in 65 years in 1985. Cauthen led from start to finish over the mile-and-a-half course on three-year-old Slip Anchor, thereby becoming the sole rider to win both the Epsom and the Kentucky derbies.
pat eddery
After reading the other two answers I looked up info on both of them. Wikipedia did not show Pat Eddery won the Kentucky Derby. Here's a quote from wikipedia on Steve Cauthen "Cauthen is the only rider to win five major Derbys: the Kentucky Derby on Affirmed ('78); England's Epsom Derby with Slip Anchor ('85) and Reference Point ('87); the French Derby on Old Vic ('89); the Irish Derby on Old Vic ('89); and the Italian Derby on Hailsham ('91)."

I did not do enough research to see if anyone else won both derbies before '85.
