You are spot on with this, take no notice to what other people are saying. maybe we have more supporters because of the Munich disaster but the fact remains that we are by far and i mean far the best supported team in the world. Man U is a great team which always had a great fan club. But with the Ferguson era which was the most successful one there were more fans around the world as they won almost everything apart the fifa world club championship. With David Beckham in their ranks Man U was very popular around the world specially in Asia. It can be the same for Chelsea if they can produce good results as the have a good string of international stars. Real Madrid and Barcelona also have many fans worldwide!
There are many teams in the world with better support than Manchester United. Real Madrid, Barcelona to name but two. The difference is their supporters don't live in Surrey or live on prawn cocktails./
Rangers are nowhere near the most supported team in the world. Its between real madrid, barcelona, man utd and celtic. Nowadays its probably man utd, but it certainly hasnt been that way for 50 years.

i dont think that being a very popular and highly supported and highly rated club does not only have to do with trophies but the type of football they play and i think man u play entertaining and are highly offfensive and if u talk about trophies we are the second most decorated team in england so we deserve all the accolade.

i know i'm a man u fan. well nearly the whole of asia supports man u and god knows how many people live in asia. But one thing i'm suprised by is the man u supporters don't live in manchester including me. Alot of people who live in manchester support man city.
