Why do they keep putting newcastle on tv?
ive got nothing against newcastle but every time they are on tv in europe they bore me silly

they have to show how not to play football
because there are lots of Newcastle fans (always have been) so putting them on TV guarantees a marketable audience to the advertisers.
its going to be cheaper than Liverpool or the London clubs (Chelseam Arsenal & Trafford Town)
Id rather watch Newcastle in europe than Boro or Blackburn,all you ever ear when Blackburn are on is that stupid drum banging in the crowd,and watching Boro is like watching a reserve match because theres so many empty seats,
basically , all teams are paid to have there matches screened on sky, or on t.v in european cases, every team in the premiership will get at least 1 viewing, it also helps with their financial backing
They're a team that qualifies for europe just like Man U etc. They've every right like they do.
I take it they're on Channel Five....
They get no ratings for any other programmes, so Newcastle would fit in fine on that channel.
I must admit ive noticed that too. I think its because they are generally thought of as an attractive side with passionate fans. Geographically too its hard for their fans to go away (even though loads do) and for other fans to get there. Im frustrated as im a West Ham fan and no TV station is showing our UEFA cup game

Because newcastle are an entertaining side to watch in my opinion. Because they have relativly good stikers and there is normaly a sending off!
