Did frank lampard mean that goal or was it a cross?

I say no, if you say yes you dont get no 10 pts, but honest opinions appreciated.

Answers:
It was cross!! I'm honest!
It's a goal,I think.
It was a total fluke. He couldn't do that again in a 100 tries. He was probably just trying to get it back across the face of goal.
I think it was a cross - but wasn't it great?
i think he did like yea
cuz he turned and shot @ the goal yeah
I'm not interested in the ten points sir, He meant it and it was one of the finest goals I have ever seen.
frank lampard is crap and england games prove it.
I think he did, he looked at the keeper first and then put it over his head. Sorry I have to tell the truth even if I cannot have your 10 points!

PS thanks for taking me to level 3
i think it was a cross
i think he meant it,i aint gonna lie to get 10 points mate.
It was a very tough shot
I have seen Pauleta scoring against Barthez
But i think it was a very good skill to just give the ball a little spin only just to fit into the net.If he wanted to give a cross he wud not have even thought of lofting a ball and then turning it.
It was absolutely a damm good skill
Nah, was a cross surely. Great all the same tho.
they say if it goes in it was a shot if it misses it was passed, great goal frankie, we are gonna win the champions league.
don't know or care all i know is it went in and chelsea got a deserved draw well done lads.
He's the second best footballer in the world, official. If Ronaldinho had scored it you wouldn't be asking this question. Typical English, knocking our best. As for points they are just for juvenile minds not for grown ups.
I think it was a cross, but hey a goals a goal.
I think it was a mixture of both, he would have seen the wide chelsea player and would have been expected to float the ball over - As the wide player would be attacking the back post. By aiming to get it over the keeper and as close to the goal as possible his accuracy was better than he imagined - In it goes, any player would call it a shot. Either way it was a piece of quality football.
honestly, who cares?
Chelsea just needs 1 more point...ha
I think it was suppose to be a cross. Because when he got the ball in the box he looked up for another Chelsea player and you could see he was aiming for the player..
I don't care about the points but I will be honest. I'm not sure but it was one heck of a goal. I tend to think that he was trying to keep the ball in play and keep a scoring opportunity open for a team mate, but then again he looked up to the goal and seemed very focused. He executed that goal perfectly though from a difficult field position. Got to give the man credit for that.
maybe it was suppose to be a cross but it ended up to be a goal
I cannot understand how he holds his place in the Chelsea team, never mind England. He WAS a fine player but he's just gone over the edge. It was definitely a cross but at least now Ronaldinho knows what it's like to be on the receiving end of one.
Definitely a goal my friend! If you saw the game you'll see Lamps bent it with the outside of his boot! Top notch and it put Barca back in their prams! Happy Days!
yer he totally meant it he had no one to cross to and he looked and see the keeper right at his near post!!
it was a goal
Of course i ment it !
I don't know what he was trying to do but it definitely was NOT A SHOT. Are you all insane. If you've ever played soccer you'd know to never shoot from where lampard was. He had absolutely no angle at all. If your near the end line and facing the goal, that's the perfect spot to cross. The goalie has to stay on the post so the attacking player has absolutely no chance to score, which means a good cross or pass results in a empty net opportunity. And if you do decide to shoot at such a terrible spot, you'd hit it as hard as you could either through the goalie's legs or hope the goalie deflects the ball into the goal. Lampard was definitely crossing the ball but got lucky because of the wind. Either none of you guy (people who say the goal was ligate) have played soccer or you've never played offense in a game.

P.S. There was someone running to the near post where Lampard was trying to cross it
it was a cross i think
It was definitely meant to be a cross to the far post but that's Chelski - playing flukes all the time
not sure but he did put a spin on it and when he took the kick he was actually looking at the goal. i've seen lampard do some tricks before, not just like that. but he's quite capable. still hate chelsea, though. (hey, who took off my gag?!)
hell no, was a real fluke
