Why is formula one racing so boring?
what should they do to make it more exciting, I think go back to the cars of the seventies with no wings and stuff to make it more about driving skill than technology
Answers:
i agree formular 1 racing is really boring coz they just go round & round & round & round & round & round & round & round & round & round & round & round & round & round & round & round
WHATS THE POINT?
i would rather watch old stock cars or pinks
I like F1 - it's football that I find incredibly dull and boring.
i,m guessing you are not a fan of formula one racing
i think because its not as advertised as nascar so its not as popular but its not always boring there alot faster and sometimes more accidents, but yes it can get boring
I happen to think its very exciting but i do agree it should get back to basics like manual gearboxes and also more turns.
Make F1 more exciting, by getting a Challenger 2 tank to drive into oncoming traffic, would make for some interesting races, and the drivers reaaly would earn all the money they are paid
I enjoy it , Narayan is the favourite one
the question ought to be who's making you watch it,lock um i say,
and does your on/off switch not work? get the tv repair man
I think formula one racing is boring..should be scraped
and lets have the banger car racing in it's place..its more fun
It was better last year, I think the new qualifying is to blame in the main. I think they should start in reverse order of their team position in the constructers championship, certainly applied to the top ten. This would dispense with qualifying altogether for the majority of the season, it may require awarding more points but it would improve the races no end.
Put traffic lights in it and scatter the track with shopping trolleys or have a zebra crossing on it. How exciting do you want it.
Because if we wanted to watch cars going round in circles we would go to london and watch the cars get lost at least wiv that there will be a bit of road rage
I agree with you on this. I loved F1 since I was a kid, and the excitement was much more intense, now its run by the mechanics they're the ones who win the races, there seems to be no skill involved in the driving anymore
Michael Schumacher! Sorry Schumi, I think you're an OK guy, but ... I hear he's going to retire. If he does, let's hope we're not going to get 10 years of Alonso winning everything.
Yep it's boreing! When the tracks wet is the only time it gets an edge to it! Get yourself tuned in to the World rally championship, now you never know what can happen there! My mr's was never in to the Rally but i got her to watch just one round in the series, She is now hooked BIGTIME!
Yes I agree, it is the pits !!
too many left turns
Not enough major crashes.
I think F1 isn't boring.
BMW-SAUBER F1!!
Yeah Baby!
That's all you gotta know!
My boys Heidfeld and Kubica gonna take the podium in a couple hours in Turkey baby!
its not dat boring.
though ure rite----its more technology than skill these days
If you saw what I just saw you wouldn't be saying that.
If you want gung-ho racing there are lots of lesser formula and motorsport classes. Watch these, but don't moan about the best cause it's over your head. The subtleties and technicalities of F1 combined with the knife edge distinction between individual driver's skills at F1 level mean you have to be a more appreciative spectator. With a little cerebral effort on the part of the viewer, F1 is every bit as exciting as any other motor sport. You obviously don't appreciate just how good the drivers are and how that makes F1 special. It's not the technical stuff, at all. Not really. If all F1 drivers were only as good as Takuma Sato (Japans best racing driver, ever) you'd get the spectacle you're after regardless of the technicalities.
Cricket. That's boring no matter who's playing at any level.
Yeah, it has im just waiting for a multiple car crash somewhere in the race, but it still is fun seeing all of them bending the F1 rules and the technology working together. I hope there would be at least two races where all of them would have identical cars (hoping for a Minardi or on of the back runners) then we'll see if that isnt fun.
When Colin Chapman pioneered ground effects I thought it was a marvelous idea; but looking back I think it was the start of F1 losing what made it so special. I also miss the days when teams had different engine configurations.
I would guess it is a combination of over-regulation, limited passing due to aerodynamics, and Bernie Ecclestone that add up to a boring series.
Well, nobody who has seen the last two races can say F1 is boring.
The Hungarian GP, raced in the rain, offered spectacular overtakings and crashes throughout the race.
The Turkish GP, which ended an hour ago, offered chaos on a high scale and spectacular battles. like Fernando Alonso fending off Schumacher for the last 15 laps for a true Imola-like finish. (Imola 2005)
My guess is that the only thing they should do to make it more exciting is to let the drivers do their stuff on the racing track and the pit crew in the pit lane. F1 is proving to us that it isn't dull.
I dunno. I watch NASCAR, so much more interesting than f1.
