Anyone know of any good free or cheap fishing lakes, ponds, rivers in or around halifax area.?

just started fishing and need advise

your best bet would be the tackle shop but you will still need a fishing licence which cost £25+ a year for an adult and half that for a child from aged 10-16 i think.
