Love handles!?
anyone any idea what is the best exercise to get rid of them? I've joined a gym but the love handles are one of the areas i want to focus on!

You do side crunches. At my gym there is this platform you stand on and then a bar in front of you and a bar in back of you that basically hold you in place and you basically do a crunch standing up, but to the side.
I hope you can picture that, I don't know how else to describe it, and it has no weights or anything.

I have the same problem - the english muffin top. I joined a gym 6 months ago and have lost inches everywhere except THERE! A trainer told me to start working more on the elliptical cycle because it makes you swing your arms forward while working the hips. I've noticed a small difference in the last 2 weeks.
I can't wait to hear other people's suggestions since I want advice too!
Well, they are not the worrst things in the world to have. Anyhoo, simple situps are good but add a twist. Turn to left and let your lebow touch your knee. That works the love handle area.
Liposuction Realy Ive tryed everything else.
Im currently trying to lose alot of weight and i have found that doing sit ups but bringing the right shoulder to the left knee and vice verser is what works best for me. It hurts if you do them properly but give it a try xxx
You need to grab anything with some weight on the right hand then try to go down to your right side, and then using the muscle of your left side lift your whole upper body back again to straight position.. and do the same on the other side, my mother does it so i know it works great.. My father is always happy.
rowing machine is good but watch those legs mussles (specially if ur female)
