Anybody else think the standard of SFL referees is ridiculous?
At the Raith (v) Stirling match yesterday Stirling's keeper picked the ball up outside the box and therefore should have been red-carded, the whole crowd saw it even the Stirling fans if they were being honest but the ref and the 2 linesmen somehow didnt see it!
Stirling probably deserved to win but that one ridiculous decision changed the whole complexion of the game.

Using one incident to judge the standards of refereeing in 3 divisions is unrealistic to say the least.
A referee can only act on what he or his assistants see.
If you feel that you can improve the standards, I'm sure your local SFA would be delighted to welcome you onto a refereeing course and you can make a difference yourself out on the pitch.
