Have the BBC got the facts wrong on celtic?

just seen on the news celtic are the 1st scottish club to qualify for the last 16 ? im sorry i thought Rangers done it last year , or am i wrong .. if im right this would make Rangers FC the 1st and celtic 2nd . put BBC 1 on now
