Can anyone tell me how on earth football teams get the kits clean? Or do they use new kits for every match?
Answers:
Most Premiership teams get new strips every match. I'd imagine the used kits are sold off for charity and the like. I'd hope they're not binned.
But teams getting new strips for each game makes Arsenal sewing a 'Dubai' patch over their sponsor even more shoddy. Just get a new set of shirts made with that sponsor!
. . . according to the TV ads they use Persil . . .
if it is a big club that can afford it the probably do get new kits every game
My sons team kit comes home every other week, fortunately this yaer they ahave a new sponsor and a new kit. They require soaking and a strong detergent. The newer they are the easier they are to clean but they are much easier these days that they used to be and they do not need ironing.
Thet wash them PROPERLY.
vanish oxy action
if you get them quickly after the game they are not too bad to wash in a commercial machine. A big problem with white shorts are grass stains. They are tricky to remove without damaging the material
players on a big club team get new uniforms for each match.
yah.players on a big club team get new uniforms for each match...
They have a new kit every game
Well, professional football teams have people taking care of that. In the case of big clubs or individual football stars, sponsors will provide them new kits to wear, and exchange with other teams' player.
They get new ones, it's nothing to sponsors. Besides, don't you think adidas, Nike and their ilk want their team looking spiffy every time. Washing actually damages the material.
they employ cleaners to wash after every use and the acadamy kids fetch and carry them
