About 36 inches. A northern Pike in MN, a Stripped Bass in CT, and a Gar in SC Wacamaw river. All 36 inches.
I caught some lunkers too, but they all got away. Last one was in the surf, took off and kept going, it eventulally bit through the steel leader - suspect a fair size shark.

Dog fish off Devon when on sea boat it was about 23 pounds in weight and a fighter
12 1/2 inch bass I know it's not big but the big one got away! Really it did!

Didn't fish for long.
Either an eel (are they fish?) or a roach of a bit over a pound, which was the first I caught, and at a match and was one of the biggest that match. I think it weighed about that, it made an impression anyway.

actually I don't know how big the fish i have caught are, but I have caught allot of fish. fun stuff. Haven't been for a while but I used to go fish for trout. Once I caught 13 fish with my bro and gpa. They caught three between the two of them.

I must have caught 50 largemouth bass there also, in the 2 months I worked on the project after Hurrican Charley and gang of twisters that year.
That was/is BASS HEAVEN there boy..
I have caught tuna, blues, salmon, crokers, strippers, drum, bass, trout, crappies, pike, pickerel, musky, carp, perch, walleye, catfish, blue gills, googly eyes, shiners, chubs...
turtles, cray fish & a duck.. yes a duck.
The tuna were the biggest, but the duck was the strangest fight.
I pulled in about a 17 pound channel catfish and a couple 3 1/2 to 4 foot female channel out of the Red River here in North Dakota. I would have got the weight of the other two but just had my tape on me.
Going back to one of the first posts, I grew up in Minnesota and they do have great fish of all kinds.

I caught a 20 or 25 foot fishing boat once. We we fishing for striper and having a fish finder on board we caught quite a few good ones. We were circling at the lighthouse near the entrance to the New London, CT., harbor and I had let out way too much line. I thought I caught the big one, but much to my dismay and theirs, the steel leader was wrapped around the propeller of another boat. You never seen 3 beer drinking rednecks more mad, but they were outnumbered, so my friend used a rubber dingy in 5-6 swells to let them go. I was done fishing.
I've been fishing for 23 years and I still haven't caught a fish that weighed over 10 LBS. I've got very close but never quite there. If anybody has any ideas as to where I can pop my 10 lbs cherry, let me know. I live in Scotland, so not too far away.
sand shark--cape cod bay
A 5 foot sand shark while fishing from the beach at Indian Shores, FL. on the Gulf of Mexico. I was just doing "regular" fishing when it took my bait. I didn't know what I had. It took 3 people to reel it in. Fortunately, when we got it to shore, it started rolling and broke the line and went back in the Gulf.
