In a game of pool if you break and you sink a spot ball and a stripe ball do you get another turn??
If you're a real pool player you will say that the breaker does not get the next turn.
Answers:
It depends on the game you are playing.
In 8-ball, you get to shoot again.
In 9-ball, you win!
In straight pool, you don't get to shoot again unless you called the ball and pocket of one of the two balls you made.
i have always played that way, you decide what your going to be and play on as normal x
If you pot a one of each then the breaker has another go but he will play with which ever ball went down first.
u potted therefore you should get another go
Yes you get to pick whether you are spots or stripes. Must voice it before taking the shot.
In yahoo pool.. yes you get another turn..
if u pocket both, a solid and stripe, at any time.. u'll get another turn coz u've pocketed ur target (but the white shld have touched ur ball first).. thats how it works in yahoo pool
The breaker choses to be spots or stripes and then remains at the table for another shot.
But this could be one of the differences between uk 8 ball, us 8 ball etc.
Yes, you have another turn and it's shooters choice
yes you do get another chance to play. in a situation like this you can nominate wich ball looks better to play.
I THINK YOU GET TO CHOOSE WHAT BALLS YOU WANT TO PLAY. YOU USUALLY GET ANOTHER TURN IF YOU POTTED ANYTHING.
yes but you have to nominate spots or stripes first
You simply choose what one you want to play next and carry on with that set. i always pick the best postitioned balls near pockets.
of course the breaker just carries on choses spots or stripes
This does not make any sense at all if you lose a turn in potting a spot and a stripe ball from a break. If this rule is to apply then player will do a soft @ss break instead of a massive break. Think about it.
The breaker would have his pick and it is still his turn
Most of the answers would be correct depending on which game you are playing? there are over 1,000 games that involve breaking. Assuming you are playing non-shot calling 8 ball, you would have the option to chose a color , and shoot again .
yes you shoot again and it is still open table , you can then shoot which ever you chose solid or stripe, but if you dont make a ball on the following shot the table is still open and the oppenet then can attempt to pocket either a solid or stripe ....
