Need help to change fly reel from left hand to right hand workings,airflow c8 large arbor.help?

my husband has this fishing reel and has tried to change it but no instructions on how to. Reel can be used by either left or right handed person, he needs it to be right handed.Help

Most fly reels cant be turned. What you do, as i did with a cheap rimfly model, is turn it round the way you want, and just reel backwards. It makes no difference. You shouldnt need it all the time tho, i used to pull the line in and have a pile of line at my feet, the reel is seen by many, as only being there to hold the line once you have packed up. Tight lines my friend

inside the reel there are springs and triangular sort of cogs...twist these cogs so that they turn. Set them so that the drag works in the desired direction. I.e less resistance when you wind...more resistance when you strip line. This applies to most flyreels.
