How long do i need to swim for for weight loss??
Answers:
It has been proven by Jans Chleznovski of the Tarmacadam Institute of Therapy that you need to swim for 250 miles to lose 1 kilo
That All Depends,
How much weight do you want to loose?
There is a wrist band that you can buy that tells you how many callories you are burnign off, it also converts it into weight loss. But for this you would be looking around the £39.99 Mark.

Keep swimming and you'll find out!
Well swimming doesn't really make your body loose weight, it just build your body muscle and that make you look skinnier
ive got an easier way! just stop eating so much
about i hour a day!
you can lose a lot of weight if you run in the pool back and forth, or walk, thats how they do it in therapy to lose weight, and it makes you run faster haha :)
Good for you! .well you need to keep going and when you get to that weight you want, it will all have been worth it!
Time is not a factor.in weight loss..so it could take a few months, or even as long as a yr.But! you are a overcomer..and you must not stop now.o.k.
4-5- days a week is o.k. to swim..or 6 even..I would have one day off.
For one to two hrs is great..anything less, could be a waste of time.See your doctor for advice, or swimming/Inst.
It all depends on how much you want to lose, I swam for at least 2 hours each day and lose like, 5-9 pounds. but I am on a swim team. and they push you to do the strokes and stuff.
Just make sure you are swimming enough, and pushing yourself
swimming does help yo ulose weight. but it depends on how hard you work and how long you swim for. another way to speed up the weight loss is to eat like 5 or 6 small meals a day with your swimming, meals with not much useless fat.
good luck and have fun Source(s):
i used to be severly overweight, started swimming, lost a bunch of weight. i don't know how much because i gained a lot back in muscle from swimming.
