I keep thinking about martial arts?

i mean like everyday of every hour how can i stop the thought going away, i think about it when i am in school as well, is this good or bad

Answers:
Go learn it, if you already are, go practise more because your not practising enough!
Grow up
It cantt be a bad thing unless your having bad thoughts about it.
if you are, you may want to see a doc
The answer to this question is easy. Do martial arts! It keeps you fit you learn how to defend yourself and you enjoy yourself and meet new people. It's great.
it must be one of those destiny thinks then ! Try it out.
why make the thought go away? martial arts are a healthy thing to be interested in! as long as you're not using it to be a bully or something. ask your principal if you'd be allowed to start a martial arts club.. they'll probably say no for legal reasons, but you never know.. when you're at home and you're thinking about it, use that interest as a motivation for your training..
the best thing to do is join a martial arts club. if you like it you can carry on with it. if you don't like it quit. whichever way it should get rid of your obsessive thoughts. if you do go try and stick with it you will be a better person for it believe be.
Is your name really taekwondo?
Make it your life. Bruce lee created a school. Study it up, base your life around it, if it's truly what you have a passion for in this life. You can become an entrepreneur creating martial arts equipment, you can hold competitions, practices, and public events. You can do anything you set your mind to.
Ah grasshopper, instead of thinking, do. Do martial arts practice till it becomes second nature, then eff off to hollywood, sign big movie deal and become rich. Thinking wont make you good at Martial arts, doing it will. All talk and no action makes questioner look like plonker.Arigato.
join a proper club to develope your intrest
Quit thinking about it, and go do it. Any form is fun and challenging.
You have already made it clear that you only train one day a week. Perhaps you should shop for another school that will allow you more training. Three times a week is usually par for the course. Once you start training more perhaps you will not think about it as much. Train more.

The other issue, from my limited psyche training, are you using these thoughts about martial arts as an "escape" from something in your real life? Perhaps some troubles at home or school, maybe trouble with some peers, or a coach, or a teacher.
If this is the case talk to an adult in your life about the trouble.
well it's a big possibility that because you only train once a week, and you have displayed such an interest that you're just looking forward to your next class, and that you're wanting to learn more.

it's not a bad thing Ash, but if it's affecting your school work then it becomes a problem,

there is a time for your training and the desire to train, but you have to remember when to have it, and thinking about it during your time at school is not a good time because you should focus on your schoolwork and homework, so that you can maintain your grades so that you can continue going to your Martial Arts classes, because your instructor (or worse your parents) may not let you participate as much if your grades are suffering.

spidertiger has had a good answer here, if you want more training time, then you need to talk to your parents about finding you another martial arts class to enroll you in that'll allow you to train at least a couple more times a week.

But you need to focus on your school work, that's more important than ANYTHING, even Martial Arts.
You keep thinking about it because all you can do is dream. Deep inside you know you really suck and that most bully would beat you up and take your lunch moneys before make you sit down in mud and cry in front of coupe cute girls.
Dude! So do I. Seriously. It's not bad. What would you rather have your mind on? Crime? It just means you may have found your bliss. And it's constructive. Don't let other deter you. Continue. Just don't lose sight of life.
this shows you have the bushido in you to train, its not a bad thing its better to be thinking about developing a interest then standing on street corners wasting your time.
so go train be the best you can be,martial arts teaches you control, discipline, manners which also carries you into your every day life. i know ive been there.
