STAMINA! Even if you are playing a different sport, you can swim laps to build up your stamina. It develops your lungs considerably. You breathe better, you perform better.

I think it helps stamina cos you get really tired really quickly. it doesn't really help suppleness because that's like flexibility. It might help strength but i think stamina is most likely.
It helps all 3, I was a competitive swimmer for 15 years, trust me it does all 3, now i have quit all 3 are worse

Yes, all the above. It helps you get stronger in the way all exercise does . first by strengthening your immune system and relaxing your mind and thus getting rid of a lot of stress, which is known to be the worst thing for your health. And also by strengthening your muscles. You feel these effects immediately.
Swimming for longer after a time and faster, will increase stamina for sure.
Swimming uses all the muscles in your body, so it does increase suppleness too, but more slowly and gradually than some other forms of exercise.

Before you ask any more does ??? improve things then yes! Any form of exercise and physical activity improves stamina and strength. I dont know about suppleness, we are not made of rubber! They used to test this in the Army over several days activity to see how your heart rate slowed down after physical activity. The faster it took to slow down the fitter your were supposed to be.
swimming is possibly the only sport that exercises every muscle in the body so i suppose it also helps with suppleness and stamina.
