Blind football?
I've just read a story about the blind world cup starting soon. Can anyone tell me how the blind know where the ball is?

there is a bell inside the ball and they stand at certain places trying to score, knowing where the goalkeeper is, after the ref tells them

Funny this, but I was arguing with son about this the other night and he said they have a bell in the ball!

Perhaps their other senses such as hearing have improved to make up for sight. If so pro's should perhaps have some practise sessions blindfolded too. My mum helps out at blind-bowling once a week and they enjoy it (she's not blind) but blind people playing football seems much more difficult.
