Dont you think england will do better in the next ashes games if they choose liam plunkett and monty penesar?

in place of ashley giles and steve harmisson coz i think those lads are in better form than the two although they do not have experience, maybe experience count for nothing at stages like these! you should also consider their performance in the last england test against pakistam where monty dazzled the pakistanis with his spin and plunkett swung the ball beautifully?!!

Answers:
i think thats a good idea coz they add some variety as well and monty spins the ball well than giles in my books.
i dont think so. Australia will dominate England in every test. I think this is not the best team of England. They need the team played in last Ashes. may b England can fight with Aus with that team. Aus is more attacking now. they will win this series 5-0.
I agree with Panesar instead of Giles, how he gets picked I do not know but who are you going to drop for Plunkett
They should certainly choose Monty Panesar. The likelihood now is that England will be one down in the series and Panesar is a more attacking bowler than Giles. For similar reasons, Plunkett should play, but I am not sure that Harmison is the bowler to be dropped. Harmison is an attacking bowler, and the trouble is he is out of sorts. The other two fast bowlers are more suited to English conditions. The answer may be to motivate Harmison and drop a different bowler. Similarly, playing Panesar does not necessarily mean dropping Giles: England will have to consdier palyinf two spinners.

Bowlers depend upon a good wicketkeeper. England should choose their best keeper.

Changing the team is not everything, as my observation about Harmison indicates. England has problems with poor squad selection, which it is too late to do anything about (including changing the Team Manager), and with captaincy. Strauss would be a much better captain than Flintoff (and Vaughan is history). But Flintoff is such an ego it would have been difficult to take the position away from him. Perhaps if England go two down.., like Botham and Grieg in 1981.
I dont think they are aggresive bowlers
YEAH
giles and harmison have done nothing to keep their place
only getting 2 wickets between them

panesar is a better bowler than giles
and it is time harmison was dropped
hes played far too many games below average
The main problem is that England seem to be reluctant to drop players that played in the last ashes. Both Giles and Harmison are desperately short of games, preperation? G jones while only being slightly a better batsman than chris read gets a game when consistently showing that his dropped catches can cost england 1-200 runs a game, are the selectors real.
