Is cricket like rounders? I don't get it!?
Answers:
In a vague sense.
In its simplest form:
There are two teams. One team field two batsmen at one time, while to opposite team field and one member bowls. If the batsman hits the ball then both batsmen run from one end to the other.
If the bowler gets out on of the batsmen then he is replaced by another member of the batting team until all members of the batting team are out.
Then the team who were bowling take their turn at batting.
There are loads of additional rules, but thats a summary of the basics.
Big rules can be found here --> http://www.therulesofcricket.co.uk/.
I think youmean baseball rather than cricket. Check www.cricinfo.com
if you don't get it now then you never will. it is but it isn't !
just watch it and learn if your interested. personally i think its pretty boring to watch.
No rounders is more like American Baseball. Cricket is a different game altogether. I suppose it is similar in a way in that someone throws a ball at you and you run as many times as you can to score 'runs'. You need to watch the game to fully understand it. Now Rugby...I dont get that!
Rounders is more like baseball in America. Cricket is just 2 wickets. Rounders & baseball is 4 bases.
Cricket is an entirely different sport - but I think you're STUMPED by some of the rules. (Stumps in cricket - joke).
its crap
