Are football players players payed too much?should there be a salary cap?
Answers:
YES!! Not just football either. professional athletes get paid an obscene amt of money.oh, are they saving lives and changing the world? Doctors earn their salaries. Nurses, policemen, and all civil employees need a bump up. No family of an American soldier should have to be on PUBLIC ASSISTANCE in order to care for their families. Something is egregiously off center here.
like I said.obscene.
No as long as dumb supporters want to pay £48 per game to watch Chelski then they will pay them silly money!
No they are not payed too much. But baseball players are
What you said is right it should be..
There is currently a salary cap in the NFL.
Why, so that directors and Fa's get the money?
Fans come to see players not the prior. Now
the Premiere are leaving the FA players are going to get even more.
I think all professional players are paid too much. It's a joke to be paid 10 million a year to play football, base ball, basketball, hockey, etc.
Absolutely!! I agree that their career is not going to last as long as someone with a normal job, but what they get nowadays is absolutely ridiculous!
I think they should have a cap of say, $100K per year. That's damn good money, and if they watch it and take care of their investments, they can make that last a lifetime. There is no sense in some ignorant muscle-bound freak making 8 million a year for playing a game. And that's what they're doing, folks,is playing. PLAYING. a GAME. NOT working. NOT contributing anything worthwhile to society. NOT learning to deal with the real world. PLAYING. And they also need to realize that they need to be more than just regular people, coz they've got all these kids watching them and wanting to be like them, so they should make sure that they act the way they should, instead of being idiots like many of them do, thinking they don't have to obey the laws and such, just because they're rich.
Sorry, got me going there. Didn't mean to ramble.
Its called supply and demand - if the demand is there the salaries will be paid. The financial rewards for clubs playing in European competitions are enormous, so if a team wants to be successful they try to buy the best players to compete. Catch 22 situation. Just as long as football continues to stir such allegiance among the fans and remains an accessible sport for the masses then the salaries will be paid. As long as the game can support such demands then why not pay? Clever companies have created a society where gifted people are rewarded.
how much are their owners making off of their talents? There is two ways you can look at that question.
they 're paid far too much, & you have no guarentee they will score a goal in any match. there should be a limit to their salary, someone that does the same job, day in day out gets upwards of 5pound per hour, & HAS to do the job or gets the sack.!!
yes
there should be a salary cap
In a sense, yes. If 1/2 their salary was taken away, they'd still be rich and we could use the money for other causes.
In another sense, no. They are in incredibly high demand, and therefore are worth incredibly high prices.
