you no more want to see rangers finish second than fly to the moon.if rangers were relegated you would be drinking champagne, but your joy would be short lived realising that there would be no old firm. nice use of the English language in an attempt to wind up rangers fans. whether you like it or not you both thrive of each other and the absence of one would take the icing of the cake. i hope there is a turn in fortune to instill some excitement back into the spl.
It's like that movie, "A series of misfortunate managers". I can'y believe that McLeish got no money, no support and won 7 trophies in 4 years (against MON), took them into the last 32 in the ECL and got sacked. When they cliaim to be Loyalist it's certianly not to their managers. The PLG comes doesn't even have a full season and they want him out. As an oldr guy I think they have jsut gone back to their pre-souness natural place of medicrity; they are just a wee club that won the lottery.
Get a life mate..I for one have never slagged leguen..he will make Rangers a force to be reconned with once again and take our rightful place at the TOP of the league. No Surrender.the league is NOT over yet.
THEIR NO MORE FICKLE THAN I WAS AFTER ARMENIA LAST YEAR MATE.
You seem to forget half your fans were calling for strapon's head after one Euro game. And we're not settling for second place. No doubt you were one of the ten trillion at Seville but not at Rugby Park nor Fir Park. Like at tic fans you have a very short memory.
Best fans in the world, more like best bullshitters.
I totally agree with but it is both sides of the Old Firm. I am not pointing fingers but not so long ago some Celtic fans were calling for Strachans head. For me it is impatience and both of us seem to think we have a God given right to win every match. When SPL teams play the Old Firm it is their European Cup Final and they raise their game accordingly. Souness once said he gave up watching SPL teams because they were a completely different proposition when playing Rangers. I dont know if it is the majority who are on his back especially judging from the pro PLG demos. Maybe just the more vocal and impatient.
Hey, talk about the kettle calling the teapot black! I seem to remember Celtic supporters calling for Gordon Strachan's head in a basket after just one game in Bratislava last season. So you can hardly talk about Rangers fans being fickle with regard to PLG.
At least with PLG it was a mere two hundred Rangers fans who were calling for him to be sacked. In the aftermath of the 5-1 humping by Artmedia, you couldn't move for the number of Celtic supporters chucking brickbats at Gordon Strachan.
The vast majority of Rangers fans are still solidly behind PLG because we know he will eventually turn things around. You don't get the international recognition he commands by being a bad manager. And we now see the first signs that he is gradually getting things going in the right direction now that we have reached the knockout stages of the Uefa Cup and won our last three league matches. Watch out mate, the league just might not be finished quite yet!
