What sort of people will I find on Skiing Holiday to Val d'isere?
Answers:
On the whole you will meet some very nice people indeed, they are very friendly, open and everyone there is there for the same reason.
You will come across one or two pushy Germans, however they don't mean it, its just the way they are!!
Then you might come across Russians, now they are rude, obnoxious and very blunt.. the only way to deal with them is to push them back and stare at them, they get the message very quickly.
If you are lucky you will meet some dutch people, now these guys are just plain crazy, they are the most fun and I have some very very good friends from Holland that I still keep in touch with.
You are going to have a great time, I am very jealous!

what kind of person are you?think about it..then you'll probably find the answer !!
Probably 3 or 4 sorts.
1. Families. You won't see that much of these as the kids need to be kept busy.
2. Seasonaires (holiday company workers). Usually completely up their own ****, think they're the dogs b**ls, and can be painfully pretentious.
3. The seasoned skier. Mid-forties, only shops at Snow & Rock, usually complete arrogant tosspots, think they own every bar, pool table restaurant. Make you ashamed to be British.
4. Happy Go Lucky Holidayers. Out on the slopes, out on the piss, generally having fun.
I don't know why but so many brits that go skiing/boarding seem to turn into really arrogant f**krs when they get their £500 ski outfit on.
I still love it though. And Val is a fantastic resort.Great skiing, and brilliant village, nice looking and good bars/restaurants.
Foreigners, mainly.
It's a big resort. You'll find allsorts there.
