How windy will it have to be to stop the Ryder Cup?

At what wind speed will it be necessary to stop play in the Ryder Cup? What is the strongest wind speed recorded during a golf tournment that did NOT stop play? What do the rules of golf say?

Answers:
I do not know what the rules say or what the strongest wind speed recorded during a match is but I would guess that they would only stop play if it was dangerous to continue.
they are not gonna stop it, was in the news, it wont go past monday week they said, so all good.
Carnoustie 1999 was a bit wet and windy. Last European victor in a major. Could be a good omen.
Go the hurricanes! Yay!
Wind won't stop it.

Only lightning and rain so heavy it generates standing water will stop play.
