Why are there no women playing professional snooker?

Answers:
There are, but they normally go out in the pre TV qualifying rounds of competitions, so they are not very well known. If you can get to the qualifyers of the world championships, usually at Blackpool, in January/February you will see a lot of unknown players, who have been on the circuit for quite a few years.
its not really a sport woman play.
I think you will find there are but they are just not allowed to enter the top tornements
Because it's not promoted properly
i can think of two reasons
no one would b watchin the game
there will be women palyining proffessionally but they will also play women. the reason you dont know about them is simply because the press and television arent interested
I think there are
There are, it doesn't get as much coverage as the mens game though and there are women referees there now
Unfortunately they are not up there able to compete on top level. By the way is any else missing Mikaela Tabb
Beats me.

Think about a woman just saying the sentance, "I play snooker".
That's just hot.

There should definately be a league of some sort of the female lovers of snooker. Right on.
THEY ARE RUBBISH THATS WHY
There are! They have their own league, it is just very rare that their games are televised. They earn a fraction of the amount of money as well. Unfair if you ask me
Boobs interfere with the balls.
coz they r not intersted.
THERE ARE WOMEN SNOOKER PROFESSIONAL ONE IS Karen Corr is the winner of 30 major snooker titles and is the Billiard Congress of America’s (BCA) 2002 Open tournament champion. Corr also holds the BCA Spring Classic 2002 champion title. She placed second in the World Pool-Billiard Association’s (WPBA) World 9-Ball Championships in 2002, 2001 and 2000. Corr was named the WPBA’s 2001 Sportsperson of the Year, as well as the Pool & Billiard and Billiard Digest Player of the Year. That same year she won the silver medal at the World Games. Corr won six tournaments in 2001. She was a four-time champion in 2000 and Billiard Digest honored Corr as the Rookie of the Year in 1999. She was the Northeast Woman’s Tour Player of the Year for three years (1998, 1999, 2000). Corr was the winner of eight major professional events in 1998. She has won the World Snooker champion title five times in her career (1997, 1996, 1995, 1991, 1990). The World Snooker Association named Corr as the first woman to coach snooker. It was after her parents moved to England, that 14-year-old Corr began her career in the game of snooker. Corr won her first championship a year later. She moved to the United States and began playing professional pool in 1998. Corr currently resides in the northeastern Philadelphia area, working at a local recreation center.:-)
what about alison fisher she is a very good female player, on the whole professional women players only equate to about 5% of the entire professional players
Which planet do you live on? have you even looked, nope. Anyway, there are many females playing professional Snooker but not many are capable of matching their male counterparts. That's why. Yes, there should be better coverage but.. (Don't get me wrong, I'm all for it there just so many negative buts to mention)
