Opinion of Detroit lions?
as a newcomer to the game, whats your opinion of the detriot lions? sensible answers please

Not really a very strong team. They have some of the potential pieces, especially in Jon Kitna, the QB. Kitna could have a stellar game one week and stink up the place the next. A receiver like Roy Williams can't do much without a consistent QB, and without balance, a RB like Jones won't be able to properly contribute (he'll either get overlooked or leaned on too much)
alot of potential and alot of talent but, they are just not getting it done.
They haven't drafted well and lack a cohesion that would make them contenders instead of doormats
for some un-godly reason they have been the same team for about the past 30 to 40 years..so..i feel it's time you all get a new owner.
dude they're terrible they need help all over the field they can't beat anybody and they sure don't scare anybody either they're a joke and one of the laughingstocks of the league
They are one of the NFL's worst teams.
They suck....but only because of 2 reasons.
1) their owner sucks @ss and is not competent enough to realize their front office needs an overhaul
2) Matt Millen, the worst GM in history
They are one of the worst teams in the N.F.L. Barry Sanders knew this and got out just in time. He was carrying the offence. Millen was a good analyst but he is not a good G.M to say the least.

There's no sensible answer to give you. For as long as I can remember we've been dealing with the Lions losing year after year after year. Is it the QB? Is it the coach? Is it the owner? Joey Harrington believes it's the fans! I can tell you one thing. fans in Detroit are loyal and dedicated. It's why they continue to attend games and continue to voice their complaints. The Detroit Lions should NOT be a losing team.
I glad that the BENGALS got rid of Jon Kitna i feel for the lions fans with him at QB he sucks so bad and they can keep him there
