Wheres the best place to take my off road bike to ride legally?

Does anyone know of a place where i can ride my off road bike legally? Is there anywhere that has a proper set up for that sort of thing like a trail course... I live near manchester the closer the better....

I suggest, on balance, after waying up the pros and cons, and deliberating with friends and family,,, OFF ROAD
the moon,, it would probably be a first ,, thats for sure
You know that is a good question.
I've hear of ppl taking atv's to play mud racing and stuff, but Idk if you can ride them on sidewalks idt so but you should ask someone who sells those type of bikes.
You could also look up your countys web site. they usually have laws about such things posted.
Personally I think there should be extra road ways for Mopeds and mini bikes.
It would be cool to be able to go places, or just take a little drive w/o getting run over or being told you're disturbing the peace or doing something illegal.
Yes how about that disused railway track between Glamis and Padanaram, it is well cool. I go there with my transalp regularly.
You shoulda thought about that b4 u got a bike, doh
In heavens Kim Darling!!!!
There might be a local karting place or similar which will let you take your own bike, I know that GP Karting in Northampton have times to take your mini moto round. Failing that you could always find a local farm and ask if you could do it on their land but I'd say they perhaps wouldn't be too keen.

That's the problem with these motorised vehicles they are not roadworthy so cannot be taxed and insured but there's not many places you can legally ride them! If the police catch you you can have a fine and points on your driving licence even if your not old enough to have a driving licence yet!
There is a area out back of forest lake Brownsplains side.
Say, just a thought, but why not pop into your local police station and ask the question there? If you get a less than warm reception then try your local Chamber of Commerce or Tourist Information Centre. Certainly all of the above will (or should) have the information you are asking for. If they say they have no such info then advise them that you will be back the next week which will give them time to access it or can they please give you the contact so that you can request the info yourself.
1. The Police can only enforce the laws against Off Road Bikes if they have maps showing where they are not allowed.
2. Chambers of Commerce and Tourist Information Centres should also have that info if they intend to help visitors to your area.
Good Luck
