Who would you have in your Arsenal dream team?

Mine is:
David Seaman
Nigel Winterburn
Tony Adams
Kolo Toure
Lauren
Robert Pires
Patrick Viera
Dennis Burgkamp
Freddie Ljungberg
Ian Wright
Thierry Henry

Answers:
don't care as long as there is at least one englishman in there for a change
No one! Chelsea rules!
The entire cast from Kelly's Hero's - would be far more entertaining!
thierry henry and freddie ljungberg - and shirts would be banned :) :) possibly shorts would be too :P
Thats no good, you've chosen 4 English players. You're not allowed any now. its the rules!
Why do you not have anyone in there from before the last 5 years?? Ever heard of Liam Brady?
can't understand u
Bob Wilson
Lee Dixon
Nigel Winterburn
Tony Adams
George Graham
Frank McClintock
Dennis Bergkamp
Liam Brady
George Armstrong
Thierry Henry
John Radford

But why am I writing all this? I f***ing hate ****-nal
How old are you what about Charlie George David rocastle George graham David O'Leary and about 20 other great players you've forgotten about! You should only have mentioned Henry Wrighty And Dennis Bergkamp! Twat!
The beauty of Arsenal teams down the years is how many average players they've had that have played way above their level and yet not looked out of place with superstars.

Bould, Ray Parlour, even Keown would not come near any Arsenal dream team in terms of talent but in terms of spirit they would be in there every time.

However if it is done on talent then yes, my team would fit with the above but I'd play Dixon ahead of Lauren and Cole instead of Winterburn.

I bet Lehmann and Eboue will be in most dream teams in many years to come

Gooners!
Hmmm, not an easy one to answer, cos of all the great players available. Notice that you have kept to recent history, no-one from the dominant teams of the 30s.
My team would be:-

Seaman
Kenny Sanson
Tony Adams
Frank McLintock
Nigel Winterburn
Patrick Vierra
Liam Brady
Dennis Bergkamp
Peter Storey
Thierry Henry
Ian Wright

Subs:
Pat Jennings
John Hollins
Alan Ball
David Rocastle (R.I.P Bro)
Malcolm MacDonald

I think !!
1 Pat Jennings
2 Pat Rice
3 Kenny Sansom
5 Frank McLintock
6 Tony Adams
4 Patrick Viera
7 Liam Brady
8 George Graham
9 Ian Wright
10 Thierry Henry
11 David Rocastle

I can tell that you are a young 'un from your selection. Some of my players have been sentimental picks but top class nonetheless!
GK:Seaman
DF:Gallas,Toure Adams,Winterburn
MF:Vieira,Fabregas,Pires,Ljunb.
FW:Henry,Wright
Sub:Bergkamp
Manager:Wenger
Pat Jennings, Nigel Winterburn, Tony Adams, Martin Keown, Lee Dixon
Ray Parlour, Marc Overmars, DENNIS BERGKAMP, Liam Brady,
Ian Wright, Thierry Henry
This was so hard so many great players
man utd should've won the game last weekend
MINE WOULD INCLUDE......no fcukin arsenal players! they are sh/ite
the whole manchester united team
Jack Kelsey - Goalkeeper - brilliant agile goalie with much better positional sense than Seaman

George Male - Right-Back - trusty right-back never caught out of position

Eddie Hapgood - Left-Back - dependable, classy left-back and England captain who stayed loyal to Arsenal throughour career. Unlike some people!

Wilf Copping - Right-Half - Tough tackling midfielder, who would stop the opposition attack in its tracks. Hard but fair. Was never cautioned in career but famously played out of his skin for England v Italy in the 'Battle of Highbury' in 1934.

Herbie Roberts - Centre-Half - The first great stopper in Arsenal's history, playing in a withdrawn position. Was responsible for much of the team's solidity in defence. Just edges out Adams because of his better disciplinary record.

Joe Hulme - Outside Right - one of the fastest wingers in his day, would provide brilliant counter-attacking. One of the first wingers to cut inwards rather than crossing.

Joe Mercer - Left-Half - another popular old timer who could play a bit. Tackled solidly but fairly. Just edges Viera through his better temperament and concentration. A great leader who lead Arsenal to their 2-0 FA Cup Final win over Liverpool in 1950.

Alex James - Inside Left - amazing playmaker who created a hatful of goals. Arsenal's captain led then to 4 league titles and two FA Cup wins. Also scored twice when Scotland thrashed England 5-2 at Wembley.

Ted Drake - Centre-Forward - Just gets the nod over Henry as he was much more dangerous in the air and much braver. Once scored seven goals in one game from just eight shots. Has also scored in a cup final, unlike Henry.

Cliff Bastin - Outside Left - Scored 150 league goals for Arsenal. A superstar in his day. Very skilful and very fast.
